‘Tipping Barrels’ is a unique combination of surfing and environmental journalism that follows surfers Arran and Reid Jackson on a trip into the heart of the Great Bear Rainforest, where they learn more about the region and the issues confronting it.

Sitka is VERY proud to announce the newest addition to our surf team line-up, Tofino's Pete Devries. Both Sitka and Pete are heavily rooted in surfing on Vancouver island, making the partnership a natural move.

Something really exciting has happened here at the shop in Victoria.
We have just received our first shipment of ...Lost Surfboards fresh from California! With locs like Cory Lopez and kids like Kolohe Andino backing these shapes you know they are sick. Even head shaper Matt Biolos is a shredder and has been dedicating his time to the creation of boards that you will just have more fun on!

Sitka team ripper Christian Moutinho stopped by the shop today and was all smiles. He just came home from a surf trip to Hawaii and had tales to tell! He was in the middle of all the madness that came from a huge swell and surfed all of the waves that makes the Hawaii's North Shore famous. He even managed to score at the giant Waimea! Check out the photo from a big day at Pipeline and look for some more photos in the next couple of days.

If you haven't seen this on the SBC website it is worth checking. Sitka team rider Christian Moutinho, testing out a Model T surfboard. From the looks of it, this boars is working really well. We have some new ones in here at the shop so come and have a look at what Christian is shredding on.

A couple of days ago a whole pile of new surfboards arrived! Sitting in the shop isn't what they were meant for though. We let one get a little rain on it and that shiny new ride looked great. Come on down and check them out soon because they won't be here long!
