This is something i have been waiting for for a very, very long time. We just got our first shipment from Poler, a fairly new company based out of Portland, specializing in the production of outdoors stuff, road trip stuff, camping stuff, adventure stuff, surf trip stuff, skate trip stuff, motorcycle trip stuff, ect... AND ITS AWESOME!

Tomorrow is a big day for surf film fans as it's the worldwide premiere of Taylor Steele's new film,Innersection. Of particular interest to us is the Victoria premiere hosted by HtO at the Victoria Events Centre. There will be tons of prizes to be won, including a Sitka surfboard.
Van Isle surfer, Pete Devries, who is also featured in the film, will be in attendance.

More ASP radness rolling in at the Hurley Trestles Pro. There have been a couple upsets and old man Knox seems to have found his form again and is killing it. Watch out for the handlebar mustache! Check some heats on demand here and look forward to great surfing with the building swell.

Greg Noll... For those of you unaware this man pioneered big wave surfing and has become one of the most celebrated persons from the surfing's classic days. Recently Greg teamed up with Element skateboards and released a series of longboards based on the designs of surfboards and skateboards from the 60's. Sitka Victoria was lucky enough to get our hands on some and they look amazing! Whether for hanging on the wall or for cruising the street these boards are something every surfer or skateboard should at least have the chance to look at.

Congratulations go out to other Leah and Ryan Oke who took top honors in their respective categories! They are a powerhouse family in Northwest surfing with a bright future ahead of them!

If you haven't seen all of the hype surrounding the RIPCURL Stew in Tofino this coming weekend it is time to pay attention! We have a few tickets for the Party that is happening on Saturday June 5th, something that isn't to be missed! Following that madness there is going to be a tent full of Sitka surfboards to try out, chances to win all sorts of Sitka goods and you can't forget the chance to see some of the best surfers in Canada have it out for that $5000 first place prize!

Sitka Victoria now has the new Hyperfreak boardies from O'neill. I don't know if you guys have had a chance to see them but damn! They are so light, so comfortable and almost stitch free so anything you need cream for isn't a result of these shorts. Jordy wears them, Cory wears them, must be the shorts that make surf like that!
