On Friday March 20, head down to the office at 538 Yates St. in Victoria between 5 and 10 pm to be the first to get your hands on our Fall 09 line, which is looking and feeling oh so good.. Best samples ever. We’ll be serving refreshments around 7, and you’ll get to check out our new office, which is just a little to the left of the shop front doors and up the stairs… Can’t miss it.

Second Wave has opened a Sitka concept store where their entire girls’ selection of clothing used to be. Sitka by Second Wave is just completing the finishing touches and is open for business. The Spring collection is in full swing and looks great in the new store built out of Rainforest Alliance Certified SmartWood. Head down to 139 Lonsdale Ave.

Our New Zealander friends Tahuna Breaks have a huge show coming up on March 14. They're playing at Homegrown in Wellington. Looks like a great time with 5 stages on the waterfront and 35 of New Zealand's bands and DJ's performing. If you're in the area be sure to check it out!

This Saturday in Victoria, you'll have the opportunity to see a number of great films about the Great Bear Rainforest one after the other.
Pacific Wild is screening Tipping Barrels, Standup4Greatbear, Cetaceans of the Great Bear Rainforest, and spOIL at the Vic Theatre located at 808 Douglas St. Advance tickets are available for $12 at Sitka at 538 Yates St. This event will likely sell out, so get your tickets ahead of time.

Rock of the Woods starts tomorrow and we're very excited! We're getting the Sitka area set up beside the stage and open to party by 5 pm tomorrow!
We're selling Rock of the Woods t-shirts and special price Sitka hoodies while participating in other outdoor amazing festival type things like face painting, blowing bubbles, dancing and dirt napping.

They're playing at Rock of the Woods on this Saturday, which means we're getting very close to the big event!
