Mischa Davis surfs for our Auckland, New Zealand shop. When she's not carving on top of waves, you can find her gliding beneath them as the mythical mermaid might.
Mischa has been making mermaid tails out of wetsuit materials and free diving fins for quite some time now. Single Fin Photography recently caught up with her and posted these photos of Mischa and her fellow mermaid, Ariel.

This Saturday in Victoria, you'll have the opportunity to see a number of great films about the Great Bear Rainforest one after the other.
Pacific Wild is screening Tipping Barrels, Standup4Greatbear, Cetaceans of the Great Bear Rainforest, and spOIL at the Vic Theatre located at 808 Douglas St. Advance tickets are available for $12 at Sitka at 538 Yates St. This event will likely sell out, so get your tickets ahead of time.

Sitka's friends, Humans, are playing shows in Victoria and Vancouver this week.
You can catch them in Victoria on Thursday, January 26 at Club 9One9, and in Vancouver on Friday, January 27th at the Biltmore.
