Sitka is going to be all over the Telus World Ski and Snowboard Festival this year. We're so stoked to be a part of the festivities and would love it if you came out to join us.
We're providing lots of prizing on the first night of the fest for the Skate & Deploy skate event on Friday April 17th, followed by a live art installation by Whistler local Chili Thom, who will be sweetening up some skate decks.
The next evening, Saturday April 18th, is the grand opening of the State of the Art exhibit where you'll see our installation on shaping and finishing surfboards. There will be surfboards painted by Chili Thom and Victoria local Tori Hillier accompanied by art by some of the other artists we work with. If you're there around 9pm, you'll be able to catch another live art installation by Vancouverite Ben Frey, who's going to work his magic on a surfboard.
Last but not least, you can get a preview of our upcoming Fall '09 line at the Fashion Show on Friday April April 24th.
The rest of the week is packed with events and parties that are always a good time... And we're basically peeing our pants our we're so excited!
