If you're in Whistler during the Telus World Ski and Snowboard Festival, be sure to stop in to the Whistler Conference Centre and see what Sitka is up to. We've got some wall space in the State of the Art Exhibit displaying work by Carla Dearman and Ben Frey. There will also be some photos and an explanation of the t-shirt cycle - from fabric milling to screen printing.
On Saturday April 17, head to the Whistler Conference Centre for the State of the Art Opening Party. Carla Dearman will be there doing some live painting on Sitka Surfboards alongside other artists working on similar projects.
The fashion show, Fashion Exposed, will take place on Friday April 23 and you can check out some Spring and Fall 2010 Sitka Clothing. There will be live performances by We Are The City and The Zolas.
To finish things off, we'll have Ben Frey painting some skateboards at the closing party, also known as The End. Music will be provided by Mix Master Mike, Small Town DJs, Mat the Alien and Vinyl Ritchie. Partying will ensue.
