Mischa Davis (Piha) picked up the top position in the opening round of the Hyundai Longboard Tour for 2012 in Raglan this passed weekend. Fresh back from a year of studying and surf coaching in Europe, this was the first competition in over 12 months and with the rain coming down, she belted out a score of 14.73 in the final.

Next stop for Mischa is the New Zealand national based at her home break of Piha January 15-22.
