Fabian Merino was born on Vancouver Island but moved to Chile when he was just a young lad. He has since returned to us in 2008 to kickflip into and up everything… After making himself a known local at the skatepark, he had earned the nicknames “Faps” or “Fidaps”. His Chilean accent is as strong as his skating. Faps can be found power skating the ledges at Vic West or working at Thrifty Foods in Fairfield. Faps is yet to complete high school as he is more concerned with having fun. Some of his favorite things include Dane playing the keyboard, 204 and partying every weekend. If Faps didn’t make the move back to Canada he would probably be living the chongo life going to university.
