People I admire: The people I admire most are the people I love.  People i surf with, jam with, shred with, and anyone truly enjoying a Sunday-funday… Having a younger brother to grow up with surfing has pushed my interests in surfing and life in so many ways. I love watching my friends surf…  Peter, Noah, and Ollie  make me smile every time they ride a wave. Old guys ripping, and young blood growing old!

Jobs outside of surfing: Sometimes I'm planting trees in the beautiful outdoors somewhere... or cooking up tasty eats at Shelter Restaurant in Tofino.... where I live the dream every day!

Reid is one of the most unique individuals i have ever met. He is an all around stand up guy who grew up in Victoria, BC, and began honing his skills at the many reefs and points in the surrounding area. Although not known as the best surf zone to be a beginner in, Reid made it work by persevering through the long drives to and from the beach, as well as the sometimes aggressive locals. His talents quickly saw him rise into one of the area's standouts. Jackson has since moved up to Tofino, where he works in the kitchen at a local restaurant while always trying to sniff out any little nook and cranny that plays host to a shallow reef or sucky slab where the elder of the two Jackson brothers tube riding talents are front and centre.
