Join us on Thursday, March 4th at Nevermind Restaurant, 3293 West 4th Avenue, where we will be raising awareness and funds for the Surfrider Foundation through the Life 2 the Limit selfless endurance challenge!
Lisa Duthie, of the Surfrider Foundation Vancouver Chapter Respect the Beach Committee, has been accepted to take part in the Life 2 the Limit selfless enduarnce challenge. This is a month long survival challenge taking place on an uninhabited island in Southeast Asia.
Lisa will need to survive on this island, along with nine other international volunteers. She will be traveling with nothing but a 5L dry bag of survival tools and will be forced to seek out her own food, water and shelter for the duration of the challenge.
This event is also acting as a fundraiser for charity, and through this challenge Lisa will be raising awareness and money for the Surfrider Foundation Vancouver Chapter.
Tickets for this event are $10, which includes a free drink and raffle ticket. Tickets are available at Sitka Surfboards, located at 1864 West 4th Avenue, or through Lisa Duthie (lifetothelimit@gmail.com).
