Sitka Surfboards is seeking an outgoing, self-motivated and organized person to fill the role of Assistant Manager at the Vancouver flagship store. The candidate must be familiar with the surf and skate industry, have retail experience and be fashion savvy.

Required Skills:
- retail experience
- understanding of the basic principles of making a sale
- knowledge of current trends in the surf/skate/retail industry
- interest in fashion, music and art
- experience with merchandising and window displays
- basic computer knowledge (Microsoft Excel and Word)
- managerial experience
- buying experience
- surf and skate experience a plus!
Candidates for the position should be detail-oriented, diligent, personable and have the skill set to lead a strong sales team. This is a full-time position starting May 1st, 2011 with training to start earlier if possible.
